Matt Hewitt

Matt is a member of one of our Healthcare teams and has accumulated 5+ years of experience working both on his own and as part of a larger team. More recently, Matt has acted as Project Lead on several projects from concept design to completion, working closely with clients, consultants, and contractors. Matt’s knowledge of BIM was instrumental in the successful delivery of the phased Holt and Athelon Wards at Newtown Hospital, a new 30-bed Mixed Adult Mental Health Inpatient Facility.

Matt, a fully qualified architect, is passionate about sustainable and low embodied carbon designs. He joined PHd after graduating from Birmingham City University in 2018, where he was able to further his industry experience while also pursuing his qualifications part-time.

Outside of work, Matt enjoys exploring the outdoors, going on hikes, and taking on a renovation project in the garden. Matt is also a member of a local hockey team, where he plays competitive matches on the weekend and celebrates with a drink or two.
