We provide specialised services as Principal Designers under both the Construction Design & Management (CDM) Regulations and as Principal Designers under the Building Regulations in relation to the Building Safety Act (BSA), ensuring your construction projects meet legal requirements and prioritise safety.
As CDM Principal Designers, we coordinate design work to ensure the building can be constructed, maintained, and eventually demolished safely. This involves integrating health and safety considerations from the initial design stages through to project completion.
As Principal Designers under the BSA, and via Building Regulations, our responsibilities can extend to ensuring building work complies with the Regulations, particularly for High-Risk Buildings—those over 7 storeys or 18 meters in height and in multiple occupancy. Our usual role as lead consultant/architect with an in depth knowledge of construction methodology and architectural design, combined with our understanding of the roles played by other design consultants, makes us uniquely qualified for these critical roles.
Our team consists of qualified and competent professionals with extensive experience in designing and delivering a wide range of building types, from small extensions to complex industrial, commercial, mixed-use and healthcare structures, including those classified as High-Risk.
Technical excellence and a commitment to health and safety are core to our values. Our expertise and dedication ensure we are well-placed to fulfil the roles of CDM and BSA Principal Designers, helping you navigate the complexities of construction regulations and deliver safe, compliant projects.
We are proud to be qualified members of the Association for Project Safety (APS), as well as the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).
