As a business PHd seeks to minimise our impact on the environment, as being construction professionals, this obviously extends into our design solutions as well, but it starts from our ethos of how we operate as a company and approach our day-to-day activities.
At PHd, we take our responsibility to reduce the environmental impact of our projects seriously. We are proud to have been a Carbon Neutral company, assessed by Go Climate Positive since 2020 and our ethos is then taken into our approach for our projects.
As well as being Carbon Neutral, our credentials are also backed up by our long-standing ISO-14001 certified Environmental Management System.
A driving principal in the office is to minimise waste and energy use as a business in all aspects of our operations, including travel and business systems. We use recycled and environmentally sourced products throughout the business as well as recycling our waste and using clean energy to power the studio. We continue to look for new ways to lower our impact on the environment via benchmarking and review.
PHd are fully committed to developing our knowledge, understanding and ultimately our approach to the environment across our business. As technology and best practice continues to advance, we must ensure that we stay at forefront of this, allowing us to utilise all available tools and resources to provide ourselves with the best position.
