The new Automotive Engineering Facility is a 1,500m2 teaching facility which includes cutting-edge amenities such as a state-of-the-art service centre, engine testing facility, substantial storage, updated classrooms, and ancillary accommodation. This cutting-edge facility is built to satisfy the highest industry standards, delivering a first-rate educational environment for pupils.
The facility's architecture adjoins the existing buildings and the surrounding scenery. It is strategically located near the recently finished Discover Centre. Built on a sloping site, the lower half of the building is imaginatively used for college storage, demonstrating an inventive use of space to maximise the site's potential.
This development, mainly supported by the Skills Funding Agency (SFA), has a BREEAM Excellent rating, demonstrating its dedication to sustainability and environmental excellence.
