Tai has recently started at the practice in September 2024 after completing his RIBA Part I degree at Birmingham City University. Tai currently assists mainly in the Commercial/Residential sector, supporting the team by further developing his skillset in residential planning and BIM software.
Tai received a B&FCAA Trust Green Book Award Commendation for his work in university for his final year project on creating a sustainable community intervention in an area of high social injustice. His studio work focused on sustainable community design with mass timber construction, with a focus on creating liveable spaces within and between the built environment.
Outside of life at PHD, Tai is keenly interested in Automotive Restoration & Racing, participating in track events at the likes of the Nürburgring, Silverstone and Spa Franchorchamp.
Tai has previously Cycled the length of the UK, covering 1036 miles over 14 days.
