This project is a further example of the 20 year partnership PHd had with Telford College, where the gradual development of the masterplan to improve, replace and extend facilities was undertaken by the PHd education team.
The 850m2 refurbished Creative Hub building has been taken from inception to completion by PHd. The new Art and Media facility provides staff and students with a fresh and inspiring space in which to teach and learn.
The project also comprised various other elements to stitch the campus together, including the refurbishment of the existing art block, providing additional space for Learners with Learning Difficulties or Disabilities. The final part of the project saw the demolition of TCAT’s last remaining demountable classrooms, reintroducing a landscaped courtyard that connects the £1.2m Rendezvous social area with the new Creative Hub and LLDD learning spaces.
