Jake Hillman

Jake has over 20 years of experience successfully delivering projects across multiple construction industry sectors, including higher education, faith centres, the Ministry of Justice, residential, commercial, and leisure.

Since joining Pinnegar Hayward Design in the mid-2000s, Jake has become a specialist in Public Sector work. He is extremely proud of the projects he has delivered for his Healthcare Clients, which include Primary Care, Acute care, Mental Health, and Further Care settings.

He understands that the projects we deliver can significantly improve the well-being of both the staff who work in those environments and, of course, the patients, with greatly improved outcomes possible. Jake believes that User engagement is significant from the outset to firmly establish clinical briefs and set deliverable targets for each project.

Jake has a deep understanding of Clinical needs and the particular regulations that govern NHS developments. He has specialised in acoustic and fire-related issues, subjects that can be challenging and easily misunderstood.

This wealth of expert knowledge has led to multiple appointments as technical advisors on behalf of several Clients, ensuring compliance with all manner of regulations that govern our industry.

Within the practice, Jake always aims to improve standards and procedures to drive efficiencies and help deliver projects more effectively on behalf of our clients, with a focus on IT and BIM systems. As a Director, his day-to-day role also covers Client liaison, staff development, and resource and financial management.
