Completed in 2023, the reconfiguration and refurbishment of Redditch Town Hall's vacated section transformed the former Redditch Borough Council space into a modern facility for Healthy Minds and CAMHS clinical services. Operated by Herefordshire and Worcestershire Mental Health NHS Trust, the services were relocated from Smallwood House to this central town location.
Situated conveniently in Redditch town centre, with easy access from Walter Strantz Square, this revitalised facility now serves as a central hub for mental health outpatient services for Redditch and the wider county. The redesigned interior provides a spacious and functional environment, with CAMHS and Talking Therapies clinical services strategically separated on the ground floor, each accessed from a central reception area. Administrative offices and group rooms are located on the first floor, optimising workflow and efficiency.
Externally, a striking new entrance canopy acts as a focal point, clearly defining the main entryway. Enhancements like new external steps and a platform lift ensure compliant accessibility from the square, promoting inclusivity for all visitors and users.
